Prof. Dr. Rainer Wehner is a professor for General Business and Accounting at the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (FHWS). He is the Director of International Relations at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration and responsible for the faculty’s double degree programmes. He regularly serves as a guest lecturer at several universities and teaches courses in ‘strategic management’, ‘diversity management’, ‘accounting’ ‘general business’ and ‘intercultural management’.

Prof. Dr. Emin Akcaoglu

Prof. Dr. Emin Akcaoglu is a professor at Beykent University in Istanbul. He recently was a guest professor at the University of Applied Sciences Wuerzburg-Schweinfurt (FHWS) in Germany. Earlier, he served at various other universities and industry. Before becoming a full-time academic, he was Underwriting Manager at Turk Eximbank, the Turkish official export credit agency. He teaches courses such as ‘international trade and project finance’, ‘international banking’, ‘multinational corporations and foreign direct investment’, 'international business', and ‘international business strategy’.

Dr. Bekir Asik

Dr. Bekir Asik is Assistant Professor of Economics at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Beykent University. He holds BA, MA and PhD degrees in Economics from Yildiz Technical University. He teaches courses such as ‘Macroeconomics’, ‘Economic Policy’, ‘Statistics for Social Sciences’, and ‘Applied Econometrics’.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mine Findikli

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mine Findikli

Dr. Findikli is a graduate of Galatasaray High School and also Anadolu University. She completed her MBA degree at Bahcesehir University. During her MBA, she also worked as a part-time lecturer for the Vocational Schools at Bogazici University, Yildiz Technical University and Istanbul Technical University until 2009. Between 2009-2010, she was a full-time lecturer at Kavram Vocational School. She received her PhD from Istanbul University’s Department of Management and Organization in 2012. The title of her PhD thesis was “A Research on the Manager-Employee Congruence and Job Satisfaction from the Work Values Perspective with the Leader-Member Exchange in the Turkish Health Sector”. She then worked as vice-dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences and head of the Department of International Logistics and Transportation at Gelişim University for three years. She was also the Assistant Editor of the Journal of Social Sciences of Gelisim University. In 2016, she received her associate professorship in strategy and management. She is currently a faculty member at Beykent University. She continues her academic studies within the framework of human resource management, organizational behavior and social entrepreneurship. She is a member of PERYON, the People Management Association of Turkey and the Academy of Management.

Baris Batuhan Gecit

Baris Batuhan Gecit

Baris Batuhan Gecit is a research fellow at the International Trade Department at Beykent University. He is also a Ph.D. candidate at the same institution and about to complete his thesis. He teaches courses on marketing and international trade. His publications are mostly about 'consumer behavior' and 'marketing'.

Prof. Dr. Turgut Ozkan

Prof. Dr. Turgut Ozkan

Dr. Turgut Özkan is Rector of Dogus University in Istanbul, Turkey. He earlier was the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Beykent University in Istanbul. He obtained his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Uludag University and PhD from Istanbul University. He worked at Haliç University before moving to Beykent. He has also had various administrative positions at universities in the capacity of head of department, deputy director and director of institute of social sciences as well as memberships of various national and international institutions, committees, and editorial boards. He earned his associate professorship in 2008 and professorship in 2013 in the fields of finance and financial economics. Before becoming a full-time academic, he had worked in industry for a long time as an auditor, internal audit manager, and chairman of the audit committee at private banks and insurance companies, and also financial and administrative affairs group manager and assistant general manager in a leasing company. He has widely published and been regularly consulted by the media on finance, business and related areas.

Prof. Dr. Selahattin Sari

Selahattin Sari is Professor of Economics and the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Beykent University, Istanbul. He obtained his BA at Gazi University, and holds MA and PhD degrees from Dokuz Eylul University, Turkey. He previously held a number of administrative positions at various universities as well as in the public sector before moving into academia. His research interests include free trade areas, transition economies and their economic structures.
