Prof. Dr. Carolin Fleischmann
Dr. Carolin Fleischmann started her academic career at the University of Bamberg (Germany), where she received a master’s degree in International Business Administration and a Ph.D. in International Management. She worked more than three years at the University of Southern California (US) as Assistant Professor of Business Communication. Since 2021, she is Professor of International Business as well as Academic Director of International Affairs at the Rosenheim Technical University of Appplied Sciences (Germany). In her research, she currently analyses global virtual teams and how modern communication technologies and artificial intelligence influence teamwork. She regularly publishes her work in renowned journals and presents her research results in academic conferences. She already received several teaching awards, most notably in 2024 the „Excellence in Teaching Award“ by the Bavarian Ministry of Science.

Dr. Markus Frankl
Dr. Markus Frankl studied at the University of Wuerzburg (Germany), where he received a master’s degree in History and Political Studies and a Ph.D. in Medieval History. He worked more than ten years as research assistant at the Chair of Medieval History and Ancillary Historical Sciences at the University of Wuerzburg. After training as a tour guide for the Franconian wine experience at the LWG Veitshoechheim and training as assistant sommelier at the IHK Wine and Sommelierschule Wuerzburg-Schweinfurt, he took over the position as head of the enoteca at the Juliusspital Foundation winery in 2018. In addition to his work at the winery and in wine tourism as 1st chairman of the tour guide association Weinerlebnis Franken e.V., he continues to publish and lecture on Franconian regional history, particularly on winegrowing and hospital history, as well as lecturing on tour guide training and further education.
